Discussing Peace Initiatives of Ukraine with Saudi Arabia

The Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak and Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Umerov met with the Minister of Defense of Saudi Arabia Khalid bin Salman in Riyadh. The main topics of discussion were the ways to achieve lasting peace for Ukraine and the participation of Saudi Arabia in this process.

Yermak reported this on his Telegram channel. He also noted that during the meeting with the National Security Council, the Minister of State, a member of the Saudi government, Musaed bin Mohammed al-Aiban discussed the concept of security guarantees for Ukraine.

Yermak thanked Saudi Arabia for its readiness to contribute to achieving a stable and just peace for Ukraine. He emphasized that Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and Deputy Prince Mohammed bin Salman, plays a leading role in peace initiatives for Ukraine, including in organizing meetings of national security councils.
