The special forces of Ukraine (SOF) reported that a sniper group from the 144th SOF Center repelled the Russian assault on the Zaporizhzhia front.

According to information published on August 27, the events depicted in the video occurred in September. The military operated from the position of a neighboring unit, when a large-scale assault by Russian forces began, in which artillery, drones, and infantry participated.

The Russian troops were unable to break through the Ukrainian positions. SOF snipers used their main types of weaponry, including grenades, assault rifles, and machine guns, to begin repelling the attack and conducting a cleanup operation.

The SOF press service emphasized that due to the professionalism and well-coordinated actions of military personnel, the Russian assault was repelled.

Earlier, it was reported that in the Pokrovsk sector, defenders from the Chernihiv brigade halted the Russian assault and detained nine saboteurs.
