Green-Bay, Wisconsin — Gravedigger "Green-Bay Packers" Mike Parsons discusses the loss of his late teammate from the "Dallas Cowboys" Marshon Kindland, who passed on July 7, 2025, as confirmed by authorities, due to suicide.
Kindland, who was selected by the Cowboys in the second round of the 2024 draft, died after his car was involved in an accident during a police chase. He left the vehicle and, according to reports, allegedly took his own life.
During a press conference, Parsons expressed his feelings about Kindland's family and discussed the importance of supporting mental health among athletes. "As athletes, we often face tremendous pressure, and it’s important to show humanity to one another," he said.
Salomon Thomas, Kindland's teammate, also shared an emotional message on Instagram, where he expressed his love for Kindland and urged people to pay attention to mental health.
Kindland, who was 24 years old, had just begun his career in the NFL, and his teammates remember him as a talented player with great potential. "This is a huge loss for all of us," added Parsons, emphasizing the importance of valuing time spent together.
