On November 7, 2025, a match of the 12th round of the Ukrainian Premier League took place, in which Kyiv's Obolon defeated Epicenter with a score of 2:1. The game took place in Ternopil, where Obolon managed to end their series of two consecutive losses.

In the first half of the match, the guests immediately shocked the super league goalkeeper. In the 11th minute, Denis Ustyemenko opened the scoring, and four minutes later, Oleg Slobodyan converted a penalty, increasing the lead to 2:0. Epicenter managed to respond only in the second half of the game, when in the 74th minute Vadim Sidun scored a consolation goal.

This victory allowed Obolon to rise to eighth place in the tournament table, where they accumulated 16 points. Epicenter remained in 13th place, having not achieved any victories in the last six matches.

The head coach of Obolon, Oleksandr Antonenko, emphasized that the team changed their style of play, focusing on attacking strategy, which brought success in this match.
