Fleetwood, who won this tournament in 2017 and 2018, posted a result of six under par (66), starting the round with three birdies in a row and adding four more, but he made one bogey on the 15th. He noted that it was important to have a good start after the previous successful round.
Aaron Ryan, who recorded an albatross on the second par-5 hole, finished his round with eight under par (64). He remarked that this was an incredible achievement, especially since my ball was not visible from the fairway.
Three players, including Richard Sterne, Enda Salivana, and Nikolay Heigard, are two strokes behind, while Shane Lowry is still one stroke further back.
Rory McIlroy, who is currently competing in the tournament in Dubai, occupies 20th place with a score of eight strokes under par after two rounds at 68.
This tournament is the first of two final events of the DP World Tour season, featuring 70 of the best players.
