The organization FIA issued a rare weather warning for heavy rain "level 4" at the Brazilian Grand Prix, which is set to take place on the track Interlagos. Predicted weather conditions may impact the running of the event.

The weather forecast indicates that on Saturday, heavy rain is expected, with a likelihood of up to 80%. Rainfall could reach 60 mm/hour, along with strong winds of up to 60 km/hour. An "orange" weather warning has been issued for the São Paulo region due to the formation of an extreme weather cycle.

On Friday, conditions on the track will remain acceptable, but by Saturday at 11:00 local time (14:00 GMT), the chances of rain will increase to 40%. For qualifying, which will take place at 15:00 (18:00 GMT), the likelihood of precipitation is expected to decrease to 40%.

On Sunday, during the main race, the chances of rain will drop to 20%, but the weather will remain overcast, and light rain is possible.
