England coach Thomas Tuchel called for utilizing the intensity and spark of Jude Bellingham on the field, after he included him in the squad for the qualifying matches for the World Cup against Serbia and Albania. Bellingham missed the previous match against Latvia, which sparked feelings of conflict between the player and the coach.
Tuchel dismissed these feelings, stating: "The problem with him is that he has the necessary character, which is essential for achieving success." He emphasized the importance of creating an environment where Bellingham can showcase his potential.
Also returning to the squad is Phil Foden, whom Tuchel plans to utilize in a central role alongside forward Harry Kane. Foden demonstrated great form, scoring two goals in the Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund.
England has already secured its place in the World Cup, winning six matches out of six in the qualifiers. Tuchel highlighted the importance of maintaining a positive atmosphere in the team ahead of upcoming meetings.
