Organizers are planning a new approach to the event. Brazil promotes fewer superfluous commitments and more action, focusing attention on the implementation of already established goals. The president of the conference, André Corrêa, has emphasized the concept of "mutualism," which envisions collaborative work to achieve common goals in the fight against climate change.

However, the hosting of COP30 is accompanied by certain challenges. The cost of living in Belém has increased, which has raised concerns about accessibility for delegates. Brazil has also announced its intention to increase fossil fuel production, which has drawn criticism from environmentalists, as these superfluous commitments contradict urgent climate action.

At the conference, Brazil will introduce a new initiative – the Global Ethical Assessment (GES), which aims to ensure fairness in climate policy, especially for indigenous peoples and vulnerable groups. Additionally, the country plans to launch the "Tropical Forests Forever Facility," which will finance efforts to protect forests.

The success of COP30 will depend on the country's ability to bridge the gaps in its climate policy and find common solutions for achieving global goals.
