Hull City secured a victory over Portsmouth with a score of 3-2 at the MKM Stadium in a match that took place on November 8, 2025. This win allowed Hull to rise to fifth place in the Championship table.
The game started with a goal from Terry Devlin, who opened the scoring for Portsmouth, hitting the net from outside the penalty area. Hull equalized when Enis Destan scored following a pass from Lewie Coyle, and shortly thereafter Kyle Joseph went forward for the hosts, converting a corner.
Just a few minutes before the end of the first half, Devlin equalized again, scoring a header after a cross from Josh Murphy. In the second half, both teams had their moments, but only Joe Gelhardt, who appeared on the field in the second half, managed to settle the match, scoring in the 77th minute.
Hull City now has five wins at home this season, while Portsmouth remains in 20th place without a win since four yellow cards.
