Drone attacks humanitarian vehicle of the "Proliska" mission in Donetsk region
- The drone attacked a vehicle of the "Proliska" mission with volunteers and journalists.
- All passengers survived thanks to their experience in unsafe zones.
- This is not the first attempt to attack a humanitarian vehicle in this region.
This is reported by Ukrinform, RBC Ukraine.
On November 8, 2025, a Russian drone carried out an attack on a humanitarian vehicle of the "Proliska" mission near Kostiantynivka in the Donetsk region. The vehicle was carrying volunteers and journalists from Austria and Spain.
According to information provided by Yevhen Tkachenko, the head of the "Proliska" mission, the drone specifically targeted the vehicle, which had the organization's emblem. When the team approached Kostiantynivka, the drone started firing at the vehicle, and then carried out the attack as the journalists and volunteers managed to exit the vehicle.
All individuals who were in the vehicle remained alive thanks to their experience working in dangerous conditions. Tkachenko noted that this is not the first attempt to attack a humanitarian vehicle, as last week Russian forces had already tried to hit their vehicle twice, but were unsuccessful.
Journalist Christian Werschütz, who was in the vehicle, reported that the drone began tracking them, and the explosion occurred when they had already managed to exit. The video, recorded during the attack, captured the moment of the explosion and the evacuation of the passengers from the vehicle.
This incident occurred against the backdrop of other attacks that Russian forces carried out that day, including in Kyiv, where drone debris fell on the territory of a residential building.
