Darren Cahill confirmed that he will remain Jannik Sinner's coach in 2026. He announced this news during a press conference in Turin, ahead of the ATP finals. Cahill stated: "If Sinner wants me to stay, I will stay."

Earlier this January, Sinner had stated that Cahill planned to leave the team next year. However, following Sinner's successes at the Australian Open and Wimbledon, he aimed to convince the coach to remain. During the final in London, Sinner made a bet with Cahill: "If I win, I will decide whether to stay with him."

Sinner characterized Cahill as "a second father" and emphasized that he enjoys working with him. The coach, who turns 60 this year, has extensive experience in tennis. By staying with Sinner in 2026, Cahill will continue to work with coach Simone Vagnozzi.

Jannik Sinner will begin his ATP finals debut on Monday evening.
