This is reported by RBC Ukraine, Ukrinform.

On November 8, 2025, mass rocket and drone attacks from Russia occurred in Ukraine, which led to the suspension of operations at all thermal power plants of the company Centrenergo. As a result of these attacks, equipment was destroyed and fires were triggered at the stations.

According to information from DTEK, their thermal power plants also suffered from the attacks. They reported that since the beginning of the full-scale war, their facilities have endured over 210 attacks.

After the attack, many regions of Ukraine began to experience emergency electricity outages, including in Kyiv, Kremenchuk, and Dnipro. Ukrenergo warned of a possible significant increase in electricity outages on November 9.
