Prince George, along with the royal family, including Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, and Princess Anne, attended the memorial festival, which took place at the Royal Albert Hall in London. The event was held on the eve of Remembrance Day to honor those who lost their lives in service.
The event commemorates the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II and the 25th anniversary of the ban on service for LGBT personnel. Prince Edward sat alongside his son George, wearing a black suit with a white shirt and a handmade poppy.
Among the guests were Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and his wife. The festival program included performances by well-known artists, including Rod Stewart, as well as music performed by military orchestras.
Prince William was not able to attend, as he had returned from Brazil, where he participated in the COP climate summit. During the event, veterans, including those who took part in the planned planting in Normandy, received recognition for their contributions.
On the following day, events will take place across the country in honor of Remembrance Day, which is traditionally observed on the nearest Sunday to Remembrance Day.
