Kings defeat Timberwolves in a crucial game

Sacramento, California (AP) — DeMar DeRozan scored 33 points, and the Kings managed to score consecutively against the Minnesota Timberwolves, defeating them with a score of 117-112 in overtime.
On Friday, the Timberwolves played against the Phoenix Suns, losing their lead by eight points with less than a minute left in the game (114-113). In the game against the Kings, they had a lead of 10 points with three minutes remaining.
DeRozan tied the score at 101 with two free throws with 34 seconds left in regulation. Anthony Edwards failed to convert a shot, and DeRozan and Malik Monk also did not score in the final attack.
The Kings have now won their second game after the victory over Denver (128-123) and improved their record to 5-13.
Edwards scored 43 points for Minnesota, while Julius Randle and Donte DiVincenzo each added 17 points. The Timberwolves now have a record of 10-7.
