Winners of the International Emmy Awards 2025 Announced

At this year's International Emmy Awards 2025, British television programs received significant attention, particularly Rivals and Ludwig, which garnered the highest awards.

Rivals, adapted from the novel by Dame Jilly Cooper, received the award for best drama. The series, which reveals scandals among wealthy and influential individuals in England, became popular following its release in January 2024.

The series Ludwig was awarded best comedy. The leading roles were played by Anna Maxwell-Martin and David Mitchell. The story revolves around a man trying to solve the mystery of his missing twin brother.

Anna Maxwell-Martin also received the award for best actress in the mini-series Until I Kill You, based on the autobiography of Delia Balmer.

In addition, Hell Jumper from BBC Two won the award for best documentary film, while Dispatches: Kill Zone: Inside Gaza from Channel 4 was recognized in the category of current events.

In the category of children's live action, the winner was Fallen from Apple TV, which tells the story of a 17-year-old girl undergoing rehabilitation.

The ceremony took place in New York City, where the best television programs created outside of the USA are honored.

This success of British productions underscores their growing recognition on the international stage.
