The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, held a phone conversation ahead of the upcoming Coalition of the Willing meeting. According to Zelensky, the conversation was productive and addressed important issues for discussion.
Zelensky expressed gratitude to Starmer for the solidarity shown to the Ukrainian people in connection with recent attacks by Russia, which occurred at night. During the conversation, the leaders discussed progress in the negotiations that took place in Geneva, and the importance of ensuring a just peace for Ukraine.
Starmer confirmed that the United Kingdom will continue to support Ukraine in these endeavors. The leaders also emphasized the importance of international unity in supporting Ukraine, particularly in preparing for the dismantling of the multinational force after the cessation of hostilities.
The Coalition meeting will take place later today, November 25.
