In Los Angeles, 22-year-old singer and influencer Maria de la Rosa, known under the stage name DELAROSA, was shot as a result of a drive-by shooting. The incident occurred in the Northridge area around 1:25 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2025.

According to police information, two people approached a parked car, in which several people were present, and opened fire. Maria was critically injured and transported to a hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Two other passengers sustained injuries, but their condition is not disclosed.

The police do not yet know the motives for the attack and have not detained any suspects. DELAROSA had just released her debut single "No me llames" in September, and she had over 40,000 followers on Instagram, where she shared moments from her career.

After her death, fans and representatives of Latin music expressed their condolences. Producer Jimmy Humilde and other colleagues remembered her talent and potential.

One of Maria's relatives, Deianira de la Rosa, posted a number of posts on Instagram honoring the singer. Another fan, Devin Kristiansen, noted that the singer helped him find an agency to start his career, and expressed his condolences to her family.
