Erika Kirk, the Executive Director of Turning Point USA, confirmed that the organization is working to support potential presidential candidate JD Vance in 2028. She made these comments during an interview on the Megyn Kelly show, highlighting the importance of the support that the organization can provide.

Kirk noted that her late husband, Charlie Kirk, was the first to support Vance during the process of the vice-presidential selection of Donald Trump in 2024. After his passing in early 2025, Erika took over the leadership of Turning Point USA and pledged to continue the work in memory of the man.

She emphasized that the organization will begin focusing on the midterm elections in 2026, prior to transitioning to preparations for the 2028 elections. "Let's start focusing on the midterm elections before we move on to 2028," she said.

Vance, who is considered a rising star in the MAGA movement, has not confirmed his participation in the 2028 elections, though his name is actively discussed among potential candidates. Meanwhile, as Vance enjoys strong support among young voters, other Republicans are also beginning to show interest in being active in preparations for future elections.
