Mikel Arteta is hopeful about the return of Martin Ødegaard to Arsenal

Arsenal's head coach Mikel Arteta expressed hope that Martin Ødegaard will be able to return to the team for the first match of the Champions League against Bayern Munich in midweek. Ødegaard, 26, has not played for Arsenal since suffering a left ankle injury, sustained on April 4 during the match against West Ham.
Arteta confirmed that Ødegaard trained on Wednesday, and also mentioned that Gabriel Martinelli and Noni Madueke could be ready to start. Both players returned to the squad after injuries and played in the match against Tottenham, in which Arsenal won 4-1.
In connection with the importance of the upcoming match, Arteta emphasized the need to conserve energy, demonstrated in the last match, and to engage with that same aggression and effectiveness against a formidable opponent.
Arsenal and Bayern Munich, both teams having won their first four matches in the Champions League, will meet at the Emirates Stadium, and the match will be an important test for each team.
