Reid stated that on Saturday evening she ordered a drink at the bar, and then went outside. Upon returning after 30 minutes, she noticed that her drink had been tampered with, which she had not left unattended. After consuming the drink, she subsequently remembered that she had ended up in the hospital.

The actress noted that doctors confirmed that she had been drugged, but did not specify which substance was in her system. She urged everyone to be cautious with drinks and not to leave them unattended.
