Actor James Van Der Beek, known for his role in the series Dawson's Creek, is selling t-shirts featuring his name "Moxon" from the film Varsity Blues to raise money for cancer treatment. Van Der Beek, 48, was diagnosed with stage three pancreatic cancer in 2023.

In his video, he showed how he plays football, wearing a shirt with his name "Moxon". The actor mentioned that the sale of the shirts is driven by a huge demand. The price for an unsigned shirt is $40, while the signed version costs $80.

In addition, he is conducting an auction, in which he is offering items from Dawson's Creek, including a shirt and a nametag of the character Joey Potter, to raise money for treatment.

Van Der Beek thanked his supporters for their support, noting that the funds raised would go not only to him but also to other patients with cancer.

It is noted that in 2024 he publicly announced his diagnosis, after which he received significant support from family and fans. Recently, the actor was unable to participate in a reunion of the series actors due to illness, but he made a virtual appearance at the event organized by his colleagues.
