Ajax defeats Benfica and remains without points in the Champions League

Ajax continues their winless streak in the Champions League, having recorded a fifth consecutive defeat, this time against Benfica. After six defeats in the international arena, the Portuguese team secured an important victory under the leadership of José Mourinho.
The match started actively. In the sixth minute, Samuel Dalí scored the first goal, powerfully hitting the net. Ajax tried to respond, but goalkeeper Anatoly Trubin repeatedly saved his team, especially after strikes from Davi Klaassen and Oscar Glukha.
In another attempt, Klaassen had one more chance, but could not convert it into a goal. Benfica continued to control the game and in the 90th minute Leandro Barreiro secured the victory, scoring the second goal in the match.
Thus, Ajax found themselves at the bottom of the group, remaining without points and with only one goal scored.
