KANSAS CITY, Missouri — Ahead of the match against the Dallas Cowboys, Chiefs head coach Andy Reid confirmed the return of running back Isiah Pacheco. The player missed three games due to an injury sustained on July 27.

Reid noted that Pacheco practiced last week but did not play in the Sunday match against the Indianapolis Colts to avoid undue stress for a short-term injury. During his absence, veteran Kareem Hunt demonstrated great potential, having recently amassed 104 yards on 30 attempts in a previous match.

The Chiefs, who hold a record of 6-5, are hopeful that Pacheco's return will enhance the speed and versatility of their offense. This season, he has managed to accumulate 329 yards and scored one touchdown in the first eight games.

Andy Reid also mentioned that right guard Trey Smith will likely not play due to an ankle injury, and in his place will be Mike Kalendo. Tight end Noah Gray, who suffered a concussion, is also expected to miss the game.
