In the playoffs, the team secured a victory over San Diego Wave in the quarterfinals, but fell to Washington Spirit in the semifinals. Gale, who took over the team in the middle of the 2024 season, managed just one full season in the head coach position.

After the season concluded, interim coach Sara Loudon will continue to serve as head coach while the team searches for a new candidate. General manager Jeff August praised Gale for his contributions to the team's development.
