PHILADELPHIA — Jaylen Suggs from the Orlando Magic was ejected for 27 seconds before the end of the first half against the Philadelphia 76ers last night. The ejection resulted from receiving two technical fouls during a heated confrontation between teams.
The conflict began when Andre Drummond from Philadelphia clashed with Wendell Carter Jr. from Orlando near the sideline after a series of foul calls. Although no punches were thrown, serious conflicts did not occur, but Suggs intervened and shoved Drummond. At that moment, between the players stood Jabari Walker, and the situation escalated, leading to further shoving.
As a result, the technical fouls were awarded to Drummond, Carter, Walker, and Desmond Bane from Orlando, which is how Suggs received two technical fouls.
Regardless of the ejection, Orlando dominated in the second half, outscoring Philadelphia by 26 points in the second quarter, building a lead of 86-60 at halftime.
