English Clubs Spent £400 Million on Transfers

The first stage of the transfer window has successfully concluded for Premier League clubs, during which they spent £400 million.
This summer season is marked by an unusual two-phase transfer window, allowing clubs to sign players for participation in the FIFA Club World Cup. The first phase closed on June 10, while the second will begin on June 16 and last until September 1.
Among the clubs that actively signed new players are "Chelsea" and "Manchester City," who will also participate in the Club World Cup. "Chelsea" spent the most, investing £89.5 million, while "City" signed several new players, including defender Ryan Aït-Nouri for £31 million.
Victories and New Signings
An important signing for "Chelsea" was striker Liam Delap for £30 million. The club also signed Dario Esugo and Mamadou Sarr. "Manchester United" made the biggest transfer, spending £62.5 million on striker Matheus Cunha.
Other clubs, such as "Real Madrid," are also active in the transfer market. They signed center-back Dean Huysen from "Bournemouth" for £50 million. "Borussia Dortmund" acquired young player Jobe Bellingham from "Sunderland" for £27.8 million, marking a record transfer for the club.
It was also noted that "Liverpool" signed new defender Jeremie Frimpong, while "Everton" secured the transfer of Carlos Alcaraz from "Flamengo." "Sunderland" spent £19 million on French midfielder Enzo Le Fée, which also became a club record.
