Launch of Android 16

On June 11, 2025, Google introduced Android 16, which hit the market earlier than expected. The update is available for most supported Pixel phones, including Pixel 6, 6 Pro, 7, 7 Pro, 8, and other models.

This version includes new features aimed at improving performance and security. Among the innovations are real-time delivery tracking updates, simplified notification management, and new security capabilities, including the Advanced Protection feature.

Key New Features

Android 16 offers the following key capabilities:

• Live Updates: Delivery or trip notifications appear on the lock screen.
• Simplified Notification Management: Notifications from a single app are now automatically grouped.
• Advanced Protection Feature: A single touch activates protection against malicious websites, fraudulent calls, and USB attacks.

How to Download Android 16
