Russia has lost over one million military personnel since 2022
- Since the beginning of the war, Russia has lost over one million military personnel.
- Recent attacks included the use of kamikaze drones against cities in Ukraine.
- Significant losses also pertain to equipment, including tanks and artillery.

According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the last 24 hours, from June 11 to 12, 2025, Russia lost 1,140 soldiers. Overall, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Russian army has lost over one million servicemen.
Total combat losses of Russia from February 24, 2022, to June 12, 2025, are estimated as follows:
- personnel - about 1,000,340 (+1,140) Russian military;
- tanks - 10,933 (+6);
- armored personnel carriers - 22,786 (+3);
- artillery systems - 29,063 (+47);
- multiple launch rocket systems - 1,413;
- anti-aircraft systems - 1,184 (+1);
- aircraft - 416;
- helicopters - 337;
- operational-tactical UAVs - 40,435 (+138);
- cruise missiles - 3,337;
- military ships/submarines - 28;
- submarines - 1;
- vehicles and fuel tanks - 51,715 (+136);
- special equipment - 3,914.
Russia's Attacks on Ukraine
During the night, Russian invaders again attacked Ukraine using Shahed kamikaze drones. Strikes were carried out on Kharkiv, resulting in damage to residential buildings and educational institutions, leading to casualties among the local population.
Recently, Russia also attacked Kyiv with drones for the first time since the beginning of the war.
