New York-based Infinite Machine has unveiled its new Olto electric scooter, which will cost $3,495 and begin shipping to customers later this year.

The Olto has a range of 40 miles, powered by a removable 48V battery. The maximum speed of the scooter is 20 miles per hour on bike paths and 33 miles per hour off-road, thanks to its 750W motor.

The scooter also has a modular design, allowing users to attach or detach elements such as child seats, racks, or baskets. Additionally, it features folding pedals, enabling the Olto to be used as an electric bicycle.

The Olto can accommodate two people due to its dual suspension system. Despite its high price, it is lower than the company's flagship model, the P1 electric scooter, which costs $10,000.

The electric scooter market in the US is becoming increasingly competitive, with numerous bankruptcies and restructurings of many brands, such as Rad Power Bikes and VanMoof. Infinite Machine, which secured $9 million in investments at the end of 2024, aims to strengthen its position in this market.
