Transfer News from Napoli
Napoli has announced the signing of Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, who previously played for Manchester City. This decision has raised questions regarding the potential transfer of Shakhtar's midfielder Georgiy Sudakov.
Former sporting director of Shakhtar, Carlo Nicolini, believes that De Bruyne and Sudakov could coexist successfully in the team's midfield. He notes that De Bruyne is a strong addition due to his experience and technique.
"They can easily play together. De Bruyne is a leader, and Napoli can place younger players alongside him," Nicolini said.
However, despite the positive forecasts, negotiations between Napoli and Shakhtar regarding Sudakov have been halted. Journalists report that the club has not resumed meetings with representatives of the Donetsk club.
In the current season, Sudakov has played 37 matches, scored 15 goals, and provided six assists. His contract with Shakhtar is valid until December 31, 2028.
- De Bruyne signed a two-year contract with an option for extension.
- Sudakov is valued at 32 million euros.
- Earlier, there were reports of delays in negotiations.
