President Donald Trump justifies the mobilization of the National Guard and Marines in Los Angeles by accusing the protesters of being "paid." He claims that the protests are backed by "paid rioters." When asked about the potential implementation of the Insurrection Act, Trump responded that "these are paid rioters."

According to him, "we will find out who they are" through Attorney General Pam Bondi. In other comments, he reiterated that the protesters are being paid for their activities. However, to date, there is no concrete evidence supporting these accusations.

Trump and his allies often assert that the protests are organized by leftist groups allegedly funding the violence. But, as experts note, many protesters have various reasons for participating, and not all of them intend to resort to violence.

Los Angeles Police Chief Jim McDonnell explained that the nighttime violence stems from "anarchists" and "organized protesters." However, no evidence has been provided that these groups are funding the protesters.

White House Press Secretary Carolina Levitt stated that Trump is using "common sense," although specific funding sources have not been named. At the same time, Trump and his supporters again reference a Craigslist ad that offered payment for participating in protests. However, facts confirm that these ads were unrelated to actual protests and were part of a joke show.

Meanwhile, Republican Senator Josh Hawley attempted to link some activist groups to possible funding of violent protests, but no concrete evidence was provided. Director of the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights, Angelica Salas, stated that these accusations distract from real issues.

At the same time, amid the protests, Russian media are trying to exploit the situation to spread misinformation. They support right-wing conspiracy theories regarding the protests, claiming that the Mexican government allegedly encourages these actions against Trump's policies. Mexico has denied these accusations.

Russian media also describe the protests as the beginning of a "civil war" in the U.S., portraying disorder and chaos. They attempt to create an image of America in crisis and use this situation for their own purposes, highlighting the division in society.

The protests in Los Angeles began due to recent arrests of immigrants, and local residents, including Mayor Karen Bass, have called for an end to ICE actions. Bass emphasized that Los Angeles is a city of immigrants that aims to support everyone living in the city.
