Front Update: 168 Combat Clashes on June 12

• 168 combat clashes were recorded on the front on June 12.

As of June 12, a total of 168 combat clashes occurred on the front, with the largest number taking place in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlivka sectors. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Throughout the day, Russian forces conducted 62 airstrikes, dropped 92 guided bombs, used 863 kamikaze drones, and launched 3536 attacks on military positions and civilian settlements in Ukraine.

Hot Spots on the Front

Pokrovsk Direction

In the Pokrovsk district, Ukrainian defenders repelled 38 attacks, with six battles ongoing. In particular, clashes are taking place near Myrolyubivka, Andriivka, Lysivka, Malynivka, Myrne, Yelizavetivka, Promin, Udachne, Novoserhiyivka, Orihove, as well as in the directions of Oleksiivka, Poltavka, and Muravka. According to confirmed data, Ukrainian forces eliminated 169 Russian soldiers, of whom 107 were killed.

Novopavlivka Direction

Russian forces attempted to break through the defense 28 times in the areas of Vesele, Bahatyr, Skudne, Dniproenerhiya, Fedorivka, Novosilka, Vільne Pole, Novyi Komar, and Shevchenka. Seven battles are ongoing in this sector.

Lyman Direction

In the Lyman direction, Russian forces conducted 17 attacks near Nidiya, Novyi Myr, Yamplivka, Torskoye, and towards Shandryholove, with six clashes still ongoing.

Toretsk Direction

In this sector, Russian forces carried out 20 attacks, including near Diliivka, Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, Romanivka, Ruskyi Yar, Oleksandro-Kalynove, and Yabluneve. Three battles are still ongoing.

Situation in Other Sectors

There were also attacks in other directions, although less intense:

• Kramatorsk Direction – 6 attacks
• Seversky Direction – 3 attacks
• Orihiv, Huliaipole, Dniprovs'kyi, and Kursk Directions – airstrikes and isolated attacks

The General Staff emphasized that Ukrainian forces are effectively neutralizing Russian troops and equipment, inflicting significant losses.

Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi recently honored outstanding soldiers of the Ground Forces after Russian military losses exceeded 1 million personnel.
