War in Ukraine: Russia has lost over a million soldiers

Losses of Russian troops in Ukraine
According to information provided by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia has lost over one million military personnel since the start of the large-scale invasion. This estimate aligns with Western intelligence data and underscores the enormous cost that Moscow has paid over three years of war.
The UK Ministry of Defence has also confirmed that Russia has suffered more than one million casualties, of which approximately 250,000 are fatalities since the invasion began on February 24, 2022. This reflects the devastating human losses inflicted by Putin on his citizens.
The last time Russia reported its military losses was at the beginning of the war when it claimed that around 6,000 soldiers had died.
Latest data on combat operations
According to the General Staff of Ukraine, Russia has lost approximately 1,001,560 military personnel, with 1,220 killed or wounded in the last 24 hours. Additionally, Russian forces have lost thousands of units of equipment, including tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery systems.
According to the latest data, 168 combat engagements with Russian invaders were recorded on the front from June 12 to 10:00 PM.
