43 out of 55 Drones Destroyed in Russia's Night Attack on Ukraine

Russia's Night Attack on Ukraine

On June 12, 2025, starting at 10:30 PM, Russia carried out a massive attack on Ukraine, launching 55 drones, mostly of the Shahed type, as well as four ballistic missiles of the Iskander-M/KH-23 type.

This attack targeted the regions of Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Dnipropetrovsk.

According to the information from the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, by the morning of June 13, 43 drones had been destroyed. Of these, 28 were destroyed by fire, and 15 were lost or suppressed by electronic warfare systems.

The attack was repelled thanks to the efforts of aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, electronic warfare systems, as well as drone and mobile fire groups.

Reports indicated that strikes were recorded in nine locations across the country.

Additionally, it was noted that Russian forces launched missile strikes on the Synelnykove and Pavlohrad districts in the Dnipropetrovsk region.
