Apple plans to release an updated Siri

Apple intends to release an updated version of Siri in spring 2026 alongside the iOS 26.4 update, according to a report by Bloomberg.

The first details of the new Siri were presented at WWDC 2024, where the company showcased the voice assistant's capabilities that take into account the user's personal context. However, in March 2025, Apple announced a delay, stating that the implementation of the new features would take longer than initially planned.

Senior Vice President of Marketing Greg Joswiak clarified that the update is expected in 2026. The exact release date has not yet been determined, but it is likely that iOS 26.4 will appear in March, as previous versions have been released during this period.

Initially, Apple planned to launch the new Siri in fall 2025 alongside the iPhone 16 series, but in reality, the new features became available only a month after the smartphones were released.

At WWDC 2025, Apple also introduced iOS 26, which featured a Liquid Glass design and new functionalities based on Apple Intelligence technologies.
