What is ALS?
ALS is a neurological disease that affects the motor neurons in the brain and spinal cord that control muscle movements. Over time, these nerve cells die, leading to muscle weakness, spasms, and the inability to move.
Currently, there is no known cure for ALS, although some methods, such as physical therapy and medications, can slow the progression of the disease and improve the quality of life for patients.
Eric Dane, as a father of two children, emphasized that he will continue to fight this illness and plans to return to screens in future projects.
