Ukraine Destroys Russian Forces in Dvorichna and Toretsk

In the Donetsk region, particularly near Toretsk, Russian forces have intensified their offensive operations. Lieutenant Colonel Dmytro Zaporoze ts reported that the enemy is trying to concentrate efforts in the area of the village of Yablunivka, using motorized infantry and equipment to prepare for further attacks.

At the same time, Ukrainian forces are actively destroying enemy groups attempting to attack. Zaporoze ts noted that in just one day, the 36th Separate Marine Brigade eliminated 35 Russian soldiers.

In the Kharkiv region, especially around Dvorichna, fierce battles are ongoing. Major Viktor Trehubov confirmed that despite Russia's propaganda claims, Russian forces have not been able to capture the settlement. Ukrainian troops are holding their positions despite constant attacks.

Trehubov also noted that Russian forces are facing serious difficulties in logistics, complicating their advance across the Oskil River. They are attempting to use light vehicles for quick maneuvers, but this is ineffective due to Ukrainian engineering fortifications and the challenging terrain.

The Situation in Toretsk

Toretsk, formerly known as Dzerzhynsk, had a population of about 35,000 before the war. The war has led to significant changes in the economy and infrastructure of the city.

According to the latest data, the situation in the Toretsk area is deteriorating, and if Russian forces capture the city, it could open a path for an offensive towards Kostiantynivka.

On the front, there have been 209 combat clashes recorded between Ukrainian forces and Russian troops in the last 24 hours.
