Statistics and Injuries

The 36-year-old Westbrook had decent stats: he averaged 13.3 points, 6.1 assists, and 4.9 rebounds over 27.9 minutes per game across 75 games. He started in 36 games, which is the highest number in the last two seasons.

However, in May, Westbrook underwent surgery on his right hand to repair ligaments. In his personal newsletter, he noted that the surgery was necessary to fix "two fractures that occurred during the season." After the procedure, he plans to return to full training in the summer.
