Google Unveils New Version of Snapseed for iOS

Snapseed Receives Significant Update

Google has released a major update for its image editing app Snapseed on iPhone and iPad. Version 3.0 features a completely redesigned interface and new functionalities that enhance the user experience.

Updated Interface and New Features

The new Snapseed interface now includes a home screen with a grid of recently edited photos. Users can add a new image using a floating button at the bottom of the screen. The interface is divided into three tabs: Looks, Faves, and Tools. In the Faves tab, users can save their favorite tools for quick access, while the export function has been moved to the top right corner.

New Styles and Filters

The update also includes new styles and filters, including Film, as well as classic Snapseed tools for correction, retouching, and creative editing. Among these are: Curves, Healing, Vignette, Drama, Double Exposure, and others. The controls remain gesture-based, but with a new arc-shaped controller at the bottom of the screen.

Popularity of Snapseed

Snapseed has maintained its popularity due to its offline functionality, although the last significant update occurred in 2021. Google has not specified whether version 3.0 will be available on Android.
