INDIANAPOLIS — Star of the Indiana Fever, Caitlin Clark, is preparing for her return to the court after missing five games due to a quadriceps injury. She has recovered and, according to head coach Stephanie White, is ready to play in the match against the New York Liberty scheduled for Saturday.

Clark missed the last five games, but her return comes at a crucial time as the team prepares to face the reigning WNBA champions, who currently hold a record of 9-0. The New York Liberty have won their games by an average margin of 19 points.

"If there are no complications, she will be ready to play," White noted. Caitlin returned to practice this week, and her first game back from injury will be broadcast nationally.

During Clark's absence, the team won only 2 out of 5 games, and her averages before the injury were 19 points, 9.3 assists, and 6 rebounds per game. Clark also shared that her return has been a challenging process, but she looks forward to getting back on the court with her teammates.
